Every time I encounter a new person or community, I am looking for the presence of God. I find myself listening closely—paying attention to what is needed, and asking two questions: How can I help? and What can I learn?
Salt of the Earth was founded in 2020 from a deep desire to reimagine how communities care for one another. Grounded in the vision of a Beloved Community—a place where people feel seen, supported, and valued—this work began at the intersection of faith, connection, and healing.
What started as a mission has grown into a professional practice focused on bridging the gap between spiritual faith and psychological health. Through workshops, consulting, and training, Salt of the Earth equips faith-based and community leaders with the tools needed to support mental wellness in meaningful and sustainable ways.
We believe that when individuals recognize their strengths and are supported in their growth, they become the “salt” that strengthens and sustains their communities.
The S-H-A-L-O-M framework guides all workshops, consultations, and training provided by Salt of the Earth.
